Do not stay here! I had my catalytic convertor stole from my truck. The hotel manager basically said two things, “Well, this is Houston” and “There’s a sign (about as big as my hand on a pole) that says we aren’t responsible, sorry.” They didn’t offer any help. I filled out a police report and the Sheriff told me that they get calls all the time for theft at that hotel and the one next to it. When I mentioned that to the hotel manager she said, “We haven’t had that happen in about a month.” What?! The fact that you say it happens at all tells me that the hotel knows that it happens and has chosen to do nothing about it. I didn’t rent a room here so I could have my truck vandalized and have to pay $2500 to get it fixed. This hotel does not care about the safety or security of their guests. Just look at other comments before mine that had the same thing happen. While I was making my complaint with the manager another guest was complaining about bed bugs in their room and the other associate and he basically insulted the guest and said, “We don’t have the bed bugs, it’s the people that stay here that bring them to us.” What a joke! DO NOT STAY HERE!
rvation because the location looked good, around a grocery store as well as some dining establishments. I am a travel agent and will be bringing a group to the area in the coming months, so wanted to check the property out. I liked the looks from the website, and the rooms looked nice.
Upon arrival, the hotel looked nice. The lobby clean and pretty modern/new. The gentleman working/assisting at the front desk was very nice, I believe his nametag said “Assistant Manager”. The check in process was pretty simple, and I proceeded to my room. I was heading out fairly soon to meet up with someone, but after a long flight wanted to take a shower. There are no luggage stands in the rooms, so had to place my suitcase up on the counter.
I went into the bathroom to take a shower, however there were no wash clothes, and just one hand towel. I had to use the only hand towel in the shower as a wash cloth. I turned the water on to find almost no water pressure and no hot water. The water eventually got luke warm and then I found that the shower gel (large refillable wall mounted) was completely empty. I ended up using the hand soap from the sink, along with the hand towel. I dried off, got dressed and proceeded downstairs to meet my friends. I stopped by the front desk around 2:30pm and asked the lady working if she could have housekeeping send up wash clothes, hand towels and fill the shower gel. She seemed extremely annoyed and pretty much didn’t acknowledge me. I headed out to meet my friends.
I returned to the hotel at about 8pm trying to decide what to do for dinner. I walked over to the bar to take a look at their menu, the same front desk lady was there talking to the server/bartender. She seemed annoyed when I asked how late the bar/dining was open and if they had a full menu. The bartender was very nice and pleasant, told me 10pm and that they had a menu. I glanced at it and decided id return down for a burger in a few. I went up to my room to find no wash clothes, hand towels, or shower gel. I grabbed my laptop and some work stuff to go down to the bar and work and have dinner and stopped back to talk to the front desk to see if they could have housekeeping deliver. She snapped that housekeeping leaves by 3pm (which I don’t believe…. If this is a hotel that is even decently managed, housekeeping would not be gone halfway through the day!). She handed me two wash clothes and a bottle of shower gel and was on her way. Overall, the lady working the desk until 10 or 11pm on Sunday the 7th, is probably the rudest, most unprofessional, unfriendly hotel employee I have encountered.
I proceeded to the bar to order food, but ended up leaving, because they didn’t even have half of the items on the menu. Out of ground beef???? Kroeger is next door! This hotel lacks in everything, and my group will for sure not be staying here when we return. We will find a Marriott product, or possible the Hilton Garden Inn in Spring, as their employees are friendly and amazing and they have great dining options and market available.
As a Hilton Diamond, as well as a Travel Advisor, I have stayed at many properties, and this rounds out as one of the worst… not because of the property, but because of the service of the front desk, and the lack of food (like I said, the asst front desk manager and the bartender were nice, the other lady was horrible). I didn’t have a car, and it’s even more important to have decent food available in your “restaurant” (or at least have the items you list on your menu available) when you are in an area not safe to walk to the other dining places. UBER eats was the only option.
If you are looking for a great place , steer clear!
Had a friend stay there for a wedding. After someone stole his catalytic converter in broad daylight, he learned from the Sheriff this is a high crime area and said a numerous people had catalytic converters stolen at this particular hotel. It cost him thousands to replace. Proceed with caution on this hotel, it appears management has no interest in safe guarding guest's property. This is sad, pay for insurance or at least have a little empathy and offer any assistance you can! Don’t just simply shrug it off and say “This is Houston.” PATHETIC!

The exterior and interior of the hotel are nice. Close to stores and restaurants. The cleanliness is questionable. There was toenail clippings on the bathroom floor and hair all over the chair in my room. The towels need to be replaced due to dingy looking. Thank God, I only needed this hotel for one night.
My military unit rented a us a room for soldiers living far so I got there on the 3rd around 8:50pm. In the morning around 6:25am I found that the window of the rental car that I parked in the front parking lot was busted. They tried to still the whole car but couldn’t because it’s a push start button. They are supposed to have cameras and a security guard that leaves at 6am after what the receptionist said. And of course, hotel denies any responsibility. Coming from so far and sleep in a hotel with no safety is outrageous. To notate that I left nothing in the car, it was empty.
Just a few things. Dog mess in elevator foyer area on our floor. Desk said housekeeping will be on in a couple of hrs and will get cleaned up. …
The hotel was nice and clean. Dog friendly. The man working the front desk was so sweet and waived a fee for me. He made it 100% worth recommending this place.
